Explore Loudoun
Bluemont
Bluemont is Loudoun’s mountain cluster: a handful of venues stacked on the eastern face of the Blue Ridge around 950 to 1,200 feet, all trading on the same currency — the view. Bluemont Vineyard’s “951” tasting room looks across the entire Loudoun Valley, Twin Oaks Tavern frames 50-mile Shenandoah panoramas from its heated decks, and Bear Chase Brewing pours mountaintop pints beside 33 acres of trails near the Appalachian Trail crossing at Snickers Gap. Dirt Farm Brewing grows its own hops and fruit on the slope below. The drives are switchbacked and the weekends busy, but no other corner of the county packs this much scenery into so few miles — come on a clear day, bring layers, and plan a designated driver for the mountain roads.
