Explore Loudoun
Downtown Leesburg
You don’t need a car — or a designated driver — for this cluster. Historic downtown Leesburg packs taprooms within a few walkable brick-sidewalk blocks: Black Hoof’s German-influenced lagers and dog-welcoming patio, Crooked Run’s hazy and experimental pours, and Loudoun Brewing’s homey local room, with King Street’s restaurants and wine bars filling the gaps between them. It’s the LoCo Ale Trail’s most convenient leg and the natural finish to a day that started at the rural wineries: park once (or ride in), crawl a few taprooms, and end with dinner on King Street. Metro-less but rideshare-reliable — the one part of Loudoun beer country where getting home safely is genuinely easy.
